Repair

Return of the finished product from the consumer.
Causes of return:

  • surplus (there were delivered more goods than ordered or something that was not ordered at all);
  • disparity (the client was brought other goods instead of those ordered);
  • defect (improper quality of the delivered goods);
  • refuse (return of the goods of an appropriate quantity and quality for any other reason).

According article 13 of the Law “On Protection of Consumer’s Rights” No. 105-XV of 13.03.2003, “The removal of defects, replacement, cost repayment of the inappropriate goods, services, price reduction” during the warranty period, the company must take the following actions on consumer’s choice:

  • to remove the defects revealed in the goods free of charge;
  • to substitute the goods free of charge; to repay the cost of the inappropriate goods;
  • reduce the price of the goods.

during the period not exceeding 14 calendar days from the day the consumer filled in the complaint or during the period stated in the agreement.

According to art. IV

“The order of the exchange of goods of good quality” of the “Resolution on approval of the Rules of the change of non-food items and warranty periods”

No. 1465 of 08.12.2003:

            The consumer is entitled to require the seller/manufacturer to exchange the non-food product of appropriate quality for a similar product at the commercial enterprise, where it was purchased, if the good did not fit the form, style, color, size, or for other reasons can not be used for the intended purpose, except for non-food products of appropriate quality, not returnable, in accordance with Annex No. 2 to the Government Decision No. 1465 of December 8, 2003.

The list of non-returnable non-food products of appropriate quality

  1. Jewelry (jewelry of precious metals with precious stones, of precious metals with inlays of semiprecious and synthetic stones, faceted precious stones);
  2. Sewing and jerseys (underwear, bed linen, hosiery);
  3. Personal hygiene items (toothbrushes, combs, hairpins, hair curlers, tweezers, razors, electric shavers and other similar items for personal hygiene);
  4. Perfumes and cosmetics;
  5. Textiles (cotton, linen, wool, silk and synthetic fabrics, ribbons, tape, etc.);
  6. Cables (wires, cables, cords);
  7. Construction and finishing materials and other goods allotted to footage (linoleum, film, carpeting, etc.);
  8. Products and materials in contact with food which are made of polymer materials, including single use products (dishes and cutlery, containers and packing materials for storage, transportation of food products (cans, canisters, bottles, drums);
  9. Household chemicals, pesticides and agrochemical products;
  10. Household furniture (furniture sets and kits);
  11. Cars and motor- and cycling items, trailers and units to them, mobile equipment small-scale mechanization of agricultural work, pleasure boats and other craft stores;
  12. Technically complex household products, with warranty period (electrical machinery and apparatus, radio-electronic equipment, home computer and copying equipment, photo and video equipment, telephones (fixed and mobile) and facsimile equipment, electric musical instruments, gas appliances and devices
  13. Products for the prevention and treatment of certain diseases at home (hygiene articles made of metal, rubber, textiles and other materials, tools, medical instruments and apparatus, oral hygiene, lens glasses, items for children care, drugs);
  14. Toys.

                   In case of warranty event the product is repaired free

of charge in the following order:

  • the work master intervention is performed within 24 hours from the time of the application;
  • the troubleshooting is executed within 14 working days;
  • the manufacturer reserves the right to extend the troubleshooting period for reasons beyond his control (lack of the necessary component parts, fabrics, accessories).

 In completing of the warranty period, the company can also provide repair services and replacement of furniture upholstery fabrics for an additional charge.
